About me

My tech journey began at the age of 17 while completing the college-level CompTIA A+ computer repair course. During this period, lessons were still focused on Windows XP and the new Windows Vista. Using these skills, I built my first PC in 2007.

After two years in College where I took a variety of computer-related classes, I took my first IT job at Geek Squad where I focused on software troubleshooting and virus removal. Next, I accepted a job at Staples where I eventually became EasyTech Expert and Tech Sales Supervisor. I was in responsible for computer repair jobs, in-store and in-home services, as well as sales and merchandising in the technology side of the store. During my time at Staples, I was ranked in the top 5% of all sales reps in both tech service sales and warranty sales, and brought the store into the top 10% of all stores for Tech sales. It was during this time that I honed my skills of troubleshooting and repair computer hardware, as well as customer service.

My next employment adventure lead me to AT&T, where I ended up working from 2014 to 2019. I started out selling residential services door-to-door such as internet, Uverse TV, and DirecTV. Eventually, I was promoted into a business-to-business role where I did technical sales for enterprise services such as dedicated fiber and advanced phone system services such as SIP and PRI. In these two roles, I learned all about the intricacies of home and business networking and telephony while learning advanced skills through programs such as Ciena's Carrier Ethernet Certification program.

While working at AT&T, I continued advancing my technology skills by doing computer repair for friends and family. In 2020, just before the start of the pandemic, I started doing IT services for small businesses full-time as my own sole proprietorship for the first time while using the knowledge I gained from working in IT and from working with business network technology. I did so using the business name "CTRL EZ", focusing entirely on doing technology upgrades for businesses.

Since then, I have continued to expand my portfolio of services and products that I offer. In 2023, I started this new business, Liberty Technology Services, to better market my IT services to both small businesses and residential customers. My goal is to provide high-quality IT services that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Whether you need help with computer repair or network setup, you can count on me to provide fast and reliable service that exceeds your expectations.
